What can you do with cube steak?

We've decided to stock the freezer with a freezer combo from Ferguson's (http://www.fergusonsmeatmarket.com/freez.htm) but have to find tasty solutions for cube steak, one of those misunderstood meats.... I came across this site http://www.cubesteak.com/ and will report back with the results. mmmm....meat!

There's nothing quite like a well-prepared Chicken-Fried Steak. When i cooked these the first time, i realised what all those truck-stop diners are aiming for!

You'll need a log-in to view this on Cook's Illustrated ... let me know if you need me to send it to you

You can also layer them in the crockpot with cans of cream-of-your-fancy soup & allow to cook all day on low. It makes a sort of poor man's stroganoff - the meat falls apart into bite-sized chunks.

Good served over egg noodles, or use cream-of-potato soup & serve over mashed potatoes, for a rich comfort food treat.
