Sara's Pasta Salad

We have a lot of potlucks at work, so I am always in search of easy and popular dishes that can be made ahead. This one was suggested to me with rave reviews and unlimited potential for variation. Here for the record:

Box of pasta, shells or other shapes
Cherry or grape tomatoes
Chopped vegetables as desired: celery, peppers, olives, artichoke hearts, etc. -or-
Bag of frozen vegetables. Asian-style was recommended.
Preferred salad dressing: Italian, Asian, Ranch, etc.
optional, grated cheese

Boil pasta according to package instructions. If using frozen vegetable, add to cooking pasta in the last 3 minutes. Drain and combine with other ingredients. Moisten with salad dressing to desired juiciness.
